A: Yes, we award a certificate of completion for all online courses and classroom seminars.

Q: How do you determine the number of contact hours to award for each online course?
A: After each online course is developed, a small group of learners is selected from the targeted audience. These learners are asked to track the amount of time they spend working on the course. The average time for this group is used to determine the number of contact hours.
Q: How can I be selected for pilot testing of future online courses?
A: Send an email to megan1@hadawayassociates.com indicating your interest in pilot testing future courses.
Purchasing Online Infusion Education
Q: Are discount registration fees available for the online courses?
A: Yes. Please call our office to discuss your needs.
Q: If I want to purchase an online course for multiple people, is there a way for me to monitor the progress of the group?
A: Yes, we can set up the group with one person identified as the monitor with access to the records of the group. The monitor can see which learners have begun and finished the course along with post-test scores.
Q: After I purchase an online course, what do I need to do?
A: Orders are received and processed between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday. Your order will be processed within 1 business day and you will receive an email with a activation code, which is a series of letters and numbers. On the log in page, enter this activation code in the new user section. Then you can set up your user account with a familiar login identification and password.
Accessing Online Infusion Education
Q: When I return to the course, do I use the activation code or the information I entered?
A: The activation code we provided is used the first time ONLY. DO NOT use the activation code we provided to login to the course after you have set up your user account. You must use your login identification and password you created to log in.
Q: How do I access the online courses?
A: Go to http://elearning.hadawayassociates.com and enter your login information.
Q: Why am I not able to access the course immediately after I make the purchase online?
A: The course resides on a learning management system (LMS), a complex program that automatically track learner’s progress, scores final exams, and tracks evaluation information. At this time, our webstore cannot be connected to this LMS. We must manually issue an activation code after your purchase has been processed. This process will require one (1) business day.
Q: When I purchased a course, I set up a user id and password on the Webstore. Can I use the same id and password after I enter the activation code?
A: Yes. The user id and password on the Webstore will make subsequent purchases easier. Using the same information, as the user id and password for the online course will not interfere with your Webstore account.
Q: Does the online courses have sound?
A: No, our online courses do not have sound. We conducted a survey a couple of years ago and it was determined that nurses learn better when they can work through the course at their own pace and do not have to keep up with the sound.
Q: Can you print out the course material?
A: Yes, You can download and print a hard copy of our course material in a pdf format. The file is located in the Library of the course you have purchased.
