Lynn Hadaway Associates was established in May 1996 and is a privately held corporation. Our services focus exclusively on infusion therapy and vascular access for healthcare professionals, healthcare organizations, and manufacturers.
We emphasize evidence-based practice, principles of adult learning, and continuous quality improvement in all we do. We employ the recognized national and international standards of practice and published guidelines from all related professional organizations and regulatory agencies.
Lynn Hadaway, MEd., NDP-BC, CRNI has more than 40 years of experience in infusion nursing and adult education. Her experience comes from multiple acute care settings, healthcare manufacturing, and continuing professional education.
She holds two national certifications -- infusion nursing from the Infusion Nurses Certification Corporation and nursing professional development from the American Nurses Credentialing Corporation. She also holds a Masters in Education from the University of Georgia.
Her publications include many aspects of vascular access devices, anatomy and physiology, nursing care of all types of vascular access devices, infusion and vascular access complication management, legal and regulatory issues, and principles of adult learning.
She has served as director-at-large and president of the Association for Vascular Access (AVA); served as the president of the Southeastern Chapter of INS twice; and has served on the INS Standards committee for the 2006, 2011, and 2016 editions; and the committee to revise the 2014 SHEA Compendium chapter on CLABSI. Currently, Lynn holds the position of chair-elect for the Infusion Nurses Certification Corporation.
